About the Trail...
Nearly 200 years ago, pioneers full of the Western Spirit headed to the West, seeking
adventure and a new life.  Regardless of their starting point, settlers all found their way to
the North Platte River Valley along the North Platte River on their way to Oregon,
California, or Utah.

This route is now known as Highway 26, the modern route of the historic Oregon, Mormon,
and California Trails.  Just like those pioneers, a new spirit has appeared upon Western
Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming.  These new pioneers have taken a journey into grape
growing and yes...wine making.
